How
Can I Raise Funds For My School?

Raising funds for a school is extremely important. Schools continue to be faced with the expectations of doing more with less money. With reduced attendance at many schools, the problem is magnified even more.
What is a school to do? How can they get those new computers or playground
equipment? How can they have activities for the children without the needed resources? One of the
best answers is FUNDRAISERS. Not a new concept, but definitely one that gets a lot of attention.
Children have been doing fundraisers for years. All kinds of fundraisers...selling candy, popcorn, candles, walk-a-thons, jump rope contests, carnivals, etc., etc., The list goes on and on. While many of these fundraisers can make the schools money,
you may not have considered what I am about to describe.
What is it, you ask?
A MAGIC FUNDRAISER.
That's right, a full-evening magic show that the entire family can enjoy. A night out for the family that is entertaining and also raises money for the school. These can be very successful, with prizes to be won by the students raising the money. Add in concessions to the ticket sales and you have a great fundraiser with a minimal amount of work.
Sure tickets have to be sold, but when students can win prizes for selling tickets, the family can have a wholesome activity together, and the school can make a lot of money, this is definitely a win-win
scenario for everyone.
